The KÁLLÓ-”fém” Ltd. manufactures and assembles different steel structures, entire building structures and also processes steel coils. The Hungarian-owned company also engages in wholesale and retail of steel, distribution of industrial and medical gas, as well as property management. They also undertake series production of steel components, treatment of both cold- and hot-rolled coils, and manufacturing of solar panel mounting structures.

The company offers a one-stop-shop solution for customers who can get everything from primary and secondary structural systems, C and Z purlins, trapezoidal steel sheets, gutters to angle bars from a single supplier. Kálló-”fém ” ’s machine park includes all the necessary equipment: cutting torches, plasma cutters, wet tile saws, bending machines, plate shears, slitting machines, cut-to-length lines and also the tools that are needed for CNC controlled section sawing and 3D drilling.

The firm is one of the few companies that has an abrasive blast with conveyor system through which the completed steel construction can pass, thus providing customers excellent surface treatment. Thanks to this versatility, some of their partners include Audi’s manufacturing plant in Győr, Hungary and they have also worked in Algeria and in Russia.

Since its founding in 1995, the company has undergone significant growth: today, they manufacture more than 2.000 tonnes of steel structures in a year at their 130.000 m2 plant located in the industrial park of Nyíregyháza, Hungary. More than 100.000 m2 of trapezoidal steel sheets and roof tiles are produced on the automated production lines.

Wholesale and retail of steel

The company offers a wide range of raw materials used for steel construction manufacturing and steel coil processing, among others: hot-rolled sections, hot and cold-rolled, galvanized or painted steel sheets and plates, cold-rolled rectangular hollow sections and U-sections, aluminum coils, or steel plates. They have over 2.000-2.500 tonnes of raw material in stock.

Steel coil processing

The company offers a wide range of services in the field of steel coil processing. They can process coils from 0.35 mm to 3 mm in thickness. Their activities include steel coil and strip slitting, plate cutting, edge bending to a max. length of 6 meters, processing C & Z purlins, trapezoidal steel sheets, metal roof tiles, and gutters. The raw material of the processed steel sheets could be cold-rolled, galvanized, or painted steel as well as aluminum.

Manufacturing and assembly of steel structures

The KÁLLÓ-”fém” company produces and assembles over 2.000 tons of steel structures a year from the smallest barns to cold storage facilities over 1.000 m2 and to entire factories. The company’s customer base consists of car dealerships, manufacturing plants, agricultural and livestock farms, sports facilities, shopping centers, electrical transformers, solar parks, and public institutions.

Manufacturing of metal roof tiles

The firm also produces metal roof tiles. These tiles are often used to cover old roofs, however, the roofing of several new buildings is also made out of this type of tile because of its durability. Its benefits include easy production in custom sizes, according to special needs and with minimal waste, easy installation and durability even under extreme weather conditions. It can be applied fast and easily, is cost-effective and among others, is available in several colors.

Manufacturing of trapezoidal steel sheets

The KÁLLÓ-”fém” company produces 6 types of trapezoid steel sheet profiles. Sheets are cut to size, packaged and delivered anywhere in the country depending on quantity. The benefits of trapezoidal sheets include quick installation compared to other sealing materials, affordable cost, optional dehumidifying coating, custom sizes and last but not least they are lightweight.
